STRONGS NT 374: ἀναπείθω

ἀναπείθω; to stir up by persuasion (cf. German aufreizen), to solicit, incite: τινα τί ποιῆσαι, Acts 18:13. So also in Herodotus, Thucydides, Plato, Xenophon, others.
